Free label maker for Arda

Print free labels and stickers for your shelves, bins and tools, starting with plain printer paper you already have. Each one has its own code. Scan it with the free Arda app to link it to the item. Arda tracks when it’s time to reorder.

How it works

  1. Pick your size

    Choose what you print on: plain Letter or A4 paper on any office or home printer (cut apart along the printed lines), CR80 PVC cards, 3 × 1 in shelf labels, DYMO 1 × 1 in labels, Zebra 3 × 1 in labels, 4 × 6 in or 2 × 1 in direct-thermal shipping labels, or Brother P-touch and Epson LabelWorks tape in 12 or 24 mm.

  2. Add the fields you need

    Drag in the write-on fields that fit, such as item, min, reorder, vendor and location. Small stock prints the code alone.

  3. Print, then scan to link

    Download a print-ready file and print it. Every card and sticker gets its own new code. Scan it in the Arda app to link it to the item.

What is Arda?
Arda is inventory software for small shops and teams. You scan a label when stock runs low. Arda builds the reorder. This label maker is free. It works without an account.
Is it free?
Yes. The label maker is free. You don’t need an account to design or print.
Are the codes real?
Yes. Every code is real. Scanning it in Arda opens the bind flow. Codes are picked at random in your browser. By default they are sized so that across 100,000 codes the chance of any repeat is at most one in a million. If you’ll print fewer, you can choose shorter codes. The same one-in-a-million limit applies to the number you choose. Reprinting a saved file reprints the same codes. Print each file once.
Which printers does it support?
Any office or home printer, on plain Letter or A4 paper you cut apart along the printed lines. Also CR80 card printers, direct thermal label printers such as the Zebra GK420t, DYMO LabelWriter printers, Brother P-touch printers that take TZe tape, and Epson LabelWorks printers.
Has every printer been tested?
Not yet. Each printer route, plain paper included, says “not yet tested” until it has been printed and scanned on that printer. The files are built to each printer’s own dot grid either way.
Is my data stored?
No email or customer data is stored. Nothing you type is sent anywhere. Codes are made in your browser. To improve the tool we count how it’s used, such as which sizes are chosen, without cookies and without anything you type.
